We were lucky to have a lot of Northern Lights! The guide of bus #5 was humorous on the way which was very nice. The only negative points (which could be positive depending on the point of view): - We stayed quite a long time in the bus while waiting for the 3 people who wanted to stay to take pictures while the majority wanted to leave. - on the way back, the bus dropped everyone off at bus stops near their hotels quite to take detours. While they had come on their own at the start. I was rather critical but it must be recognized that without this activity I would not have been able to see the northern lights during my stay. So Takk

We had a great tour guide with lots of interesting information and were very lucky to see the Northern Lights as soon as we got off the bus, which stayed until we left and even later hung over our Reykjavik hotel! A great night and, since the northern lights are not very green in the sky for our eyes, which I didn't know beforehand, a great experience, as we were now able to "discover" them ourselves as our trip progressed. Thumbs up for this great event!!!

I was unlucky the first time I took part, according to the forecast we had almost ideal conditions and drove a whole crowd of buses to a golf course in the south-west. Unfortunately the Northern Lights did not appear but was offered to attend again for free and a few days later I was lucky enough to have the Northern Lights appear to us on the evening tour inland at Thingvellir. Tour itself was ok, bus ride with a guide who told us about the formation of the northern lights + return trip at midnight near the hotel in Reykjavik.
