A beautiful hike with a great guide. It was stunning to see the change in the terrain as we hiked up the mountain, and to see so clearly where the lava flowed during recent eruptions. The guide gave great explanations for the different types of rocks, the history of the volcano, and the movement of lava and magma. She also took us to some of the equipment researchers were using to monitor the volcano. I had never seen a volcano before, and this was definitely a worthwhile experience for me.

The hike was beautiful and the guide was knowleadgeable. There was also a stunning natural pool with a small waterfall where we were able to swim, near the end of the hike.

Great experience, I recommend Renaud who is very professional and attentive to his clients.
