Tour of the palace was great, guide was very knowledgeable. Retiro park is really nice but would skip the tapas; tapas place could not cater for vegetarians

Our guide Job was excellent and Madrid is a beautiful city with good streets. However, the route took us onto a number of large thorough fares with heavy auto traffic and this was a bit stressful.
Start your tour with a visit to Cibeles Palace. This beautiful building, located at the intersection of Paseo del Prado and Calle Alcalá, was built in what at that time was known as the Jardines del Buen Retiro. Enter the building with your guide and get to know the opulent interiors. Then, head up to the rooftop for incredible views over Madrid and the Gran Vía. After this, continue your tour by walking up Alcalá Street to enter Retiro Park. Find out how, in the 17th century, the Count-Duke of Olivares designed a space for the recreation of the king and his court, giving rise to the Jardines del Buen Retiro. Learn about how in 1868 the park became a municipal space and since then many elements have been added to its heritage. Listen as your guide explains the historical context behind the park's most outstanding attractions. Marvel at the size of the Big Pond and be dazzled by the bea...

Excellent experience thanks to David. Very interesting explanations in addition to being a pleasant company during the journey. On the other hand, to say that the visit to Casa Ciriaco did not live up to the expected quality. We did not doubt that once it was an emblematic place of Madrid but they served us an assortment of tapas that were clearly kitchen scraps ... it is true that the price of the visit was adjusted, but you can serve less quantity and quality, or replace the covers included with explanations of the place and then give the option to consume what the customer wants, paying it.
Beth is a great combination of personality, humor and knowledge. Her sometimes irreverent insights gave us knowledge not always available to a visitor. Her artistic perceptions borne of her own life experience enhanced every chapter of our tour. We'll never forget the story she shared of how she and her new husband received the blessing of their marriage at La Torre de Oro (Plaza Mayor). She is a special person.
This activity has been fabulous; by far it has been the best on my trip. After her I felt that I learned things and had information that I didn't have before. I highly recommend it, and our guide Beth; artist, bilingual and great connoisseur of the city of Madrid with great ease to transmit information and knowledge.
Irene knew how to answer with solvency the questions we asked her and made the tour of the park, despite the large number of people, very enjoyable
This was a good city tour guided by Carman. She is very knowledgeable and I learned a lot from my time on the tour
