In late May, 600 visitors total and moderate temperature: Amazing experience, wonderful nature, not crowded, really fantastic. But a tough walk, you have to make it on your own. The guide Ingrid (not Swedish) was great and the busdriver ”Herkules” drove us safely. Things that are good to know: Breakfast is very expensive, consider bringing your own. You cannot leave things on the bus for the return because it will be used in the meantime. There is waterfillingstations throughout the walk, so a normal 0,5l bottle is enough to bring. There are ”WC”-toilets regularely, but just a porcelainhole in the ground, prepare yourself. You have to leave by boat to get to the bus, it is not optional, cost €13/person. The food at Samaria-restaurant was catastrophical. I can recommend this trip for everyone!

Everything was very well organized, from departure in the morning to the return journey. Lots of information about the country and its people on the route. The hike itself is quite demanding at times. Good shoes and fitness are very helpful and lots of other hikers pushing at you shouldn't bother you. A great trip in any case. We still had time for a great lunch and a swim before we went back on the boat.

Fantastic day out. The guide was incredible at pointing out things of interest on the way and the little towns we stopped in were lovely. The beach itself is gorgeous! Crystal clear waters and perfectly soft white sand. I only wish we could’ve stayed for longer! Definitely recommend

The hike through the gorge is really impressive. There is enough time to hike the 16km.

Everything worked sensationally well. Very good guide (Pia), top
