Day 1 The 2-day tour kicks off from your hotel on the west coast, and you will cut through the scenic countryside of Sri Lanka's low country. It would take about 2 hours for you to reach the Sinharaja rainforest. Later our nature guide will show you fascinating trees, plants, vines, birds, waterfalls, and many other creatures that reside in the forest, during the rainforest trekking. Your jungle trek lasts 3-4 hours. After the rainforest trekking, proceed further into the interior of the island to reach Udawalawe National park. Your Udawalawe National Park safari lasts 4 hours and it allows you to see many fascinating wild creatures such as elephants, bears, crocodiles, jackals, monitors, mongooses, wild buffaloes, deer, birds and many other creatures. Check in at the hotel and leisure. Day 2 Early morning, board the Colombo-bound hill country train for Ella railway station. Your scenic rail journey lasts about 2 hours (duration may vary). During the trip, you will touch the most scenic part of the blue train journey through the hill country, and you will pass a tea plantation, patches of forest, vegetable plots, green-capped mountains, and isolated villages. You will be collected by your guide upon reaching the Nanu Oya railway station. Later, drive to a scenic tea plantation and factory in Nuwara Eliya; en route, stop at Gregory Lake Esplanade.
