Kombucha Tasting Experience in the Heart of the Meatpacking District
Join us for a relaxed and informative kombucha tasting in Copenhagen’s more hidden and up-and-coming part of the Meatpacking District (Kødbyen). Over 1.5 to 2 hours, you’ll explore the world of kombucha, taste 6 different varieties, and experience a new way of exploring Nordic cuisine, famous for its innovative approach to food and drinks.
Welcome to Kombucha Inc. :
Kombucha Inc. is a small-scale kombucha producer crafting high-quality, organic, unfiltered kombucha. What started as a passion project in a small Copenhagen apartment has grown into a microbrewery supplying everything from bars to Michelin-starred restaurant. Unlike mass-produced kombucha, every batch is handcrafted, ensuring complete control over flavor and fermentation.
Our focus is on natural fermentation, premium organic ingredients, and innovative flavors. We strive to create a complex craft beverage, as refined as a great wine or beer.
Arrival & Tasting:
We’ll meet outside Kombucha Inc., where the tasting takes place. This less-explored part of Kødbyen, It retains its raw, industrial charm, but with an emerging scene of innovative food and drink experiences.
We’ll start with a short introduction to Kombucha Inc., sharing our journey from home brewing to producing kombucha for some of Denmark’s best restaurants.
The highlight of the event is the tasting session, where you’ll try 6 different kombuchas, each with its own story and character.
Each tasting is accompanied by a story—explaining the ingredients, the inspiration behind it.
Enjoying the Kødbyen Atmosphere:
Unlike a traditional indoor tasting, this kombucha experience is fully outdoors, allowing you to take in the dynamic energy of this evolving part of Kødbyen.
As you sip, you’ll be surrounded by the sounds and movement of the district—people enjoying after-work drinks, restaurants firing up their grills, and the transformation of this industrial area into one of Copenhagen’s most exciting food and drink destinations.
At the end of the session, you’ll have the chance to revisit your favorite kombucha, ask any last questions, and chat with the team.
Before you leave, you’ll also have the option to purchase bottles to take home, including limited-edition flavors only available at the brewery.
