The trip kicks off with a scenic drive from Denver to the world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheater where you get to enjoy the rock formations of the park and the amphitheater, a national historic landmark and one of the greatest music venues in the world. We’ll continue our trip to Lookout Mountain, with some of the best views of the Rocky Mountains, Great Plains, and Denver. From there, we’ll take the Lariat Loop National Scenic Byway into Golden, a charming town nestled at the foot of the Rocky Mountains where you have time to enjoy a local coffee shop or craft brewery or stroll along Clear Creek Trail.

Your walking tour starts with some epic views atop this legendary natural amphitheatre, from where your tour guide will share stories of the famous rockers and icons who have performed on the Red Rocks stage. If you can pull yourself away from the amazing scenery of Colorado’s landscape beyond the amphitheatre, we’ll take our tour down into the Visitor Center, where you’ll be blown away by the floor-to-ceiling display of every concert since 1947. Find your favorite artists, from John Denver to The Beatles. Your private tour of Red Rocks can include an easy hike around the amphitheatre. Your tour guide will narrate the park’s geological past as you walk, pointing out a particularly curious anomaly, the Great Unconformity.
