What people are saying about Red Pyramid

Great time with the fam, visited with my mom, sister, and husband. We went inside the Bent Pyramid and it was a little tough (though still very do-able). You have to go down a small tunnel 80 meters (stooping the whole way, but there are little ladder-like rungs so it's easy to not fall), then go up maybe 5-6 flights of stairs, then go through another tunnel about 8 meters that you must crawl through on your hands and knees (and you will get all chalk-dusty), and then up another 2 sets of stairs and then you're there! Anyway the guide was quite knowledgable, the tour did end about two hours earlier that advertised- I think this is because we opted to skip lunch and do that on our own after the tour, and because we declined going to some rug factory or perfume factory or something like that, I don't remember what it was that was offered. I didn't want to do any of those factory stops because I don't like to buy souvenirs, especially large ones. Anyway we all had a nice day!

Absolutely awesome way to start our Egypt travels. Our tour guide Yasmin was amazing and very hospitable. We chose the option for our own car and were picked up from Giza, which was about a 45 minute drive. All the entrance fees for the entire day totaled to about 600 EGP or about 20-25 USD per person, cash. We were absolutely blown away by our first tour into the Bent Pyramid which I had no idea you could go inside of! Small tip, if you are planning to go inside the Pyramid (which I highly recommend) you may want to do a little leg exercises prior to the trip (like when you go skiing). The entrance tunnel is very short and narrow and super steep. It's like climbing the world's longest ladder and you can't see the end! HA! Our legs are sore today but I would not have it any other way! Either way, going inside is optional, and the view is just as spectacular from outside.

Our visit to Saqqara, Memphis and Dashur was perfect. Paula, our guide, and the driver, picked us up in our hotel just in time and he gave very good explanations on everything along the way. He also provided time for us to take photos and enjoy and gave free advice for a lot of other things about our experience in Egypt! I highly recommend this trip!

A very nice trip. The Bent Pyramid was particularly interesting. Our guide was very helpful and took us to a carpet school. Everything was perfect, I recommend this trip.

A wonderful and original day. We're going off the beaten track a bit. The guide is very interesting and really nice.
