Savor a local lunch before heading back to your accommodation in Cusco.  Your professional tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Cusco between 3:30 AM and 4:00 AM. After a 2-hour drive, you will arrive in Cusipata where you will stop for breakfast and buy water and snacks for the trek. Following breakfast, you'll travel one more hour to the hike starting point, at 4,850 meters. From there you will start your 3.5-kilometer trek to Rainbow Mountain over both flat and uphill terrain. During your hike, you will enjoy amazing views and encounters with wild alpacas, llamas, and vicuñas. Once you reach the top at 5,010 meters, you can make use of some free time to take a break, and if the weather is good, you will be able to enjoy views over Rainbow Mountain. You'll go downhill to the starting spot for another hour. Then, take transportation back to Cusipata where a local lunch will be waiting for you. Once you finish your buffet lunch you will travel back to Cusco, where you will arrive between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM at Plaza de Armas.

Begin your adventure with a hotel pickup in Cusco between 3:00 AM and 3:30 AM. Enjoy a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Qollasuyo, passing through the Cusipata district, where you'll stop for a 30-minute breakfast. Afterward, continue your journey for another hour until you reach Fulawasipata, where you'll receive a brief introduction to your hike. Set off on your trek at the foot of the Ausangate mountain range, starting a 1-hour and 45-minute ascent to the summit of Rainbow Mountain. Along the way, you may spot various South American camelids, such as llamas and alpacas. Upon reaching the red hill, you'll be greeted by breathtaking views of the vibrant landscape. After taking in the views, begin your 1-hour descent through flatter terrain, returning to the trailhead. From there, head back to Cusipata to indulge in a delicious buffet lunch. Finally, you'll return to Cusco, arriving at Plaza Regocijo/Kusipata around 4:30 PM, conveniently located near many hotels.

This alternative of trip you will not have any inconvenience because in the ATVs you will arrive 5 minutes away from the mountain. Start with pickup from your hotel in Cusco between 3:00 AM and 3:30 AM. Travel for approximately 1.5 hours to Qollasuyo. Pass through the district of Cusipata with a stop for a 30-minute breakfast. From there, continue onwards with the journey for 1 hour until reaching Fulawasipata. Here, take a pause for a quick brief on how the journey will be carried out. Begin the walk at the foot of the Ausangate mountain range. This will be followed by an ascent of approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to the highest point of the Rainbow Mountain. During this journey, you will have the opportunity to see the different types of South American camelids, a relative of the camel. Upon reaching the red hill, take in the beautiful scenery. Finally, continue the journey with a 1-hour descent into the flat terrain and back to the starting point of the hike. Return to Cusipata to enjoy a buffet lunch.  Following lunch, return to Cusco, arriving at approximately 4:30 PM at Plaza Regocijo/Kusipata, centrally located and close to all hotels.

First, we will start with the respective pick-up from the hotel within the historic center of Cusco from 4:30 to 05:00 a.m. Then we will head in our tourist transport south of Cusco to the community of Tintinco in the district of Cusipata, where we will have our first stop to enjoy a buffet breakfast. Then we will continue our journey by road for 1 hour and 30 minutes to the parking lot, from where we will start our hike. Afterwards, we will have a 2-hour hike to Rainbow Mountain, where we will be able to see most of the fauna such as alpacas, vicuñas and llamas, when we arrive we will have enough time to take pictures and walk through much of the place and observe all the surrounding landscape and rest a little to begin the descent. Then we will return by the same route to the parking lot to return to the district of Cusipata, Tintinco community where we will have a buffet lunch and finally return to the city of Cusco (approximate time of arrival 17:30 hrs). The tour is ending at the Plaza Regocijo. Remember that this is a group tour and you have to return to the transportation together with the other passengers.

Our trip will head to the southern valley of Cusco. Our travel company will pick you up from your hotel at an indicated time the day before the trip (approx. 4:30 am) and we will start a 2 hour trip to the district of Cusipata. After breakfast we will continue the trip for 1 hour and 20 minutes more to the community of LAYA 4630 meters above sea level.This is where our atv adventure begins. Before the tour we will have an instruction of the guide. To start the adventure in the ATVs to the red valley with an estimated time of 30 minutes enjoying this enigmatic place and then we will hike for 30 minutes to visit the mountain of the 7 colors and take souvenir photos and an explanation of the place. Afterwards the whole group will return by the same trail to the ATVs to board the bus and return to the restaurant for lunch. Total bus ride 7 hours, ATV adventure 50 minutes, hiking time 1 hour round trip. The tour has a duration of 14 hours. Witness Rainbow Mountain in all its glory, take some photos and explore the area on a day trip from Cusco with a guide. Set out on an adventure in the early morning with a hotel pickup. Head up the mountain, cross small villages, immerse yourself in the local culture, and have lunch after your hike. Begin your full-day tour in Cusco city, where you will be picked up between 4:00 AM and 4:30 AM. You will then drive in a comfortable van for 3 hours to the town of Cusipata, where you will have breakfast in a local tourist restaurant. Following breakfast, we will drive for an hour to arrive to the base camp and heading to the starting point of your hike. There are approximately 2 kilometers of flat land uphill, leading to the majestic "Mountain of Colors". The hike will take about 1.5 hours, depending on your level of fitness. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of the valleys, wild llamas, alpacas, and vicuñas, as well as of the Andes and the nearby glaciers.  Once here, if the weather is good, get the first views of Rainbow Mountain. At the top, take a well-deserved break, which will also be your chance to catch your breath and enjoy the stunning views. As an optional short activity, let's hike a bit more to get a amazing view of the Red Valley, don't miss this great adventure. After taking beautiful photos, begin your descent, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch upon your return. You will then take private transportation back to Cusco, where you will arrive at approximately 5:00 PM.

These mountains are considered some of the most beautiful in the world thanks to the magic of their colors. option 1: ATV to Rainbow Mountain with Meals We pick you up from your hotel or Airbnb in Cusco. Then, we will travel for two hours to the village of Cusipata, we will enjoy a light breakfast, perfect to start the day off right and have lots of energy in the Peruvian Andes. After breakfast we will board our transportation to continue our two-hour trip to the ATV station. Our guide will give us the necessary instructions to start this ATV adventure. We will drive the ATV for 25 minutes to the base, feeling the adrenaline and observing Andean animals (alpacas, llamas and local birds). We will walk for five minutes to reach the Arco Iris mountain, at an altitude of 5,000 meters. If you wish, you can climb up to the lookout point, located at an altitude of 5,075 m. At Rainbow Mountain, you will have 40 minutes to take the best pictures. After visiting Rainbow Mountain, we will walk five minutes to reach the ATVs. We will board the ATVs and drive 25 minutes to the transportation station. We will return to Cusipata, where a delicious lunch with several options awaits us. We will have one hour for lunch. Before boarding the ATVs, our guide will give you instructions. Then, we will drive the ATVs for 40 minutes through the Red Valley. Afterwards, we will walk for 30 minutes to visit Rainbow Mountain, take souvenir pictures and receive an explanation of the place. We will then walk back to the ATV base for 30 minutes. We will return on the ATVs to the transportation station and then go to Cusipata restaurant for lunch. Rainbow Mountain Tour Palccoyo 1 day Palccoyo Mountain Day Tour Itinerary: The pick up will be between 4 am to 5 am depending on the location of your hotel or Airbnb, 5:00-7:00 am: Transfer by bus from Cusco to the town of Checacupe (3400 meters above sea level). 7:00-7:30 am: Breakfast near Checacupe. 7:30-10:00 am: Bus transfer from Checacupe to the community of Palcoyo. 10:00-11:00 am: 1-hour walk from the community of Palcoyo to the Palcoyo mountain (4900 m.s.n.m ). 11:00 am-1:00 pm: Free time to enjoy the colorful mountains of Palccoyo and learn about them with the guide. 1:00-1:10 pm: 10-minute walk from the Palcoyo mountain to the Forest of Colorful Stones (4900 m.s.n.m). 1:10-1:50 pm: Free time to enjoy the Forest of Colorful Stones. 1:50-2:30 pm: Return on foot to the community of Palcoyo. 2:30-3:00 pm: buffet lunch 3:00-5:00 pm: Bus transfer from Cusipata to Cusco. 5:30 pm: End of the tour in Cusco, the transport leaves one block from the main square. minimum 1 day of acclimatization Note: in case of booking for the same day, check availability beforehand.

The adventure begins between 4:00 a.m. m. and 4:30 a.m. m. at which time our transportation will pick you up at your accommodation, after which we will go to the town of Cusipata in approximately 2 hours. Around 6:30 am we will arrive in Cusipata where we will enjoy a buffet breakfast. After breakfast, we will begin the ascent along a communal dirt road until we reach 4,800 meters of altitude. Subsequently, we will begin a walk through a 4 km trail, along the way you will enjoy landscapes full of flora and fauna of the Andes. Our guide will accompany you and teach you how to walk at altitude. The colorful mountain network will begin to appear little by little, until you reach the viewpoint at 5,200 meters high. Its geological formations will reveal all its great splendor. Later you will have the option to visit the Red Valley (optional). Vinicunca is one of the great attractions that you should not miss on your trip to Peru. Free time for photos. Then we will descend along the same path, to board our vehicle and descend to Cusipata. Here you will have a delicious lunch and then return to the imperial city of Cusco. At the end of the Mountain of Colors Tour, you will return to Cusco where our transportation will take you to the city center (approximately 04:30 pm)
