Overall rating
We were picked up from the hotel well ahead of schedule and everything went very smoothly. Our guide was also very friendly. We waited in a waiting room until departure at around 9:30 a.m., were able to buy coffee and then went to the harbor. The weather was perfect, we had sunshine. It took us about an hour by catamaran to Coral Beach and then we had a wonderful stay there for 1.5 hours. Then we went to the next island (also a 1-hour boat ride) where we could decide whether to go ashore or snorkel from the boat. We chose the last option and were able to see a lot of fish. After about 1.5 hours we went back with a stop for hand line fishing. All in all there were 12 of us on board and it was a comfortable and very relaxed boat trip. The beaches were not overcrowded either, so we had a perfect break from all the hustle and bustle of Phuket. Clearly recommended for the price
Activity was really nice and we had a good time. The boat is nice and confortable. Personel is helpful. I would do it again. Some comments: We choose for the catamaran hopping we would sail but all travels were made with motor. It could be done at least 1 hour. The Coral beach is not really good for snorkelling as the coral is very limited or dead, may be better in banana beach. So enjoy the beach. We stayed there a bit longer as the boat had a small motor issue. No need for shoes. The Racha is great. As we were a bit short on time we didnt go to the beach and stayed on the boat for snorkelling. There it is really great, very nice visibility and lot of fish. But it is deeper so dont hesitate to book diving. Kids had fun with the small boat and toboggan. On the way back we had a great time with tthe fishing.
Where to start? If professionalism could have a name it would be "Nigel". Nigel is a very kind and direct diving instructor. He will tell You exactly what You need to know and answer any question. I can absolutely recommend diving trip with him!
