Rabat: Private Guided City Walking Tour

This tour was fantastic, and I highly recommend it! Our guide, Ilyass Imami, was incredibly engaging and made our time in Rabat truly special. He not only shared plenty of fascinating insights about the city and its history but also invited us for traditional tea, which was such a thoughtful touch. Exploring the Kasbah of the Udayas, Hassan Tower, and the medina with such a knowledgeable and friendly guide was an absolute pleasure. A perfect way to experience the charm of Rabat!

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. We met our guide Hicham at the train station and from there walked up and entered the King’s Palace grounds; it was lovely. All along the way Hicham related the history and explanations of Rabat. No topic was out of bounds and he handled our questions with tact and grace. We walked to the Hassan II unfinished mosque next and visited the mausoleum. Beautiful! Also a wonderful view of the opera house and tower that is under construction. Next we took a taxi to the Kasba with its lovely and fragrant gardens. We were able to hike up to the overlook and see the river, Sale and Rabat. Another terrific view. With that the tour was over and we took a cab back to our hotel. Overall, it was a wonderful tour and we would definitely take it again—Worth the money. (Be forewarned, Hicham has long legs and a fast pace, so be in shape!😏)
