Cotopaxi National Park is one of the highest volcanoes in the Ecuadorian Andes. Departures are made from the city of Quito, capital of Ecuador, to the Cotopaxi National Park, offering panoramic views of the Ecuadorian Andes with its spectacular flora and fauna. We will walk around the Limpiopungo lagoon, where you can observe local wildlife, such as llamas and Andean birds.
Papallacta, known for its thermal waters located in the middle of mountainous landscapes, is famous for its hot pools with relaxing and therapeutic properties thanks to the mineral composition of sulfur, calcium, and magnesium that vary depending on the temperature, offering a rejuvenating experience after a day of exploration in nature.

Pedro was an incredibly informed tour guide. He has an incredibly good general knowledge and it is fun to talk to him. We were alone and so the whole trip was very flexible. Pedro takes requests into account and tries to make everything possible. It was a great day and we were very lucky with the weather and were able to see a lot of Cotopaxi. The hot springs of Papallacta are very relaxing. And an absolute must if you are in Quito. I even learned a lot of new things about Ecuador and the people here, even though I have been to Ecuador many times and even lived with an indigenous family for three months. Highly recommended.
