We arrived to the event to find out that no one else had booked the excursion, so we had the option of waiting for a few extra people to join or spending a little bit extra money to take a private trip with just our family. Turned out to be a great idea as Lawrence the captain and Adrian the Snorkel guide were very knowledgeable and took great care of us,and we got lots of great pictures with animals and in beautiful water!

Full description

Board the boat or 45 ft yacht (if available) at 12 pm to sail the coast until arrival at Palancar reef. Meet with friendly staff and be provided with all the necessary snorkel equipment and lifejackets to safely enjoy one of the most beautiful sites in the Caribbean.


Marvel at the corals and colorful marine life at Palancar Reef, known for its corals, rays, sponges, sea turtles, and tropical fish.


See a dreamlike view of the ocean floor at El Cielo, known for its basket stars and sea stars. Snorkel the shallow clear waters of El Cielo, before returning to the boat and traveling to El Cielito beach to relax with a drink, ceviche, and fruit.


Arrival back at the port between 4 and 4:30 pm.

The guides, the tour was very great but there was no ceviche! So don’t expect that for your money! Also if you check for the same Tour at the peer, you might be surprised by the price difference… Photos of you snorkeling are to be paid extra. In Indonesia it was included
