Our adventure is more than just admiring the scenery, it's about immersing ourselves in Madeira's culture and efforts to care for the environment. Take a break with us at a typical Madeiran bar, where each sip of freshly made Poncha tells a story from the island's past (not included). Our adventure leads us to Henriques & Henriques, a famous Madeira wine cellar, where peace and good taste come together. Here, in a calm atmosphere, you'll have the chance to try the different flavors of Madeira wine, from Sweet to Dry (3 years old). Finally to end our trip through Madeira's amazing landscapes, we will visit the very famous fishing village of Câmara de Lobos. Important: This wine tasting is completely free for all guests. Please note that visits to Henriques & Henriques wine lodge may not be available during certain Portuguese holidays.

From Funchal we drive to Serra d'Água on our way to São Vicente, where we go off-roading, with fantastic views over the north of the island (Porto Moniz, Ribeira da Janela, Paúl da Serra and São Vicente). Then, you will have an unforgettable sustainable experience at the bee honey museum (Mel da Laurissilva), an organic producer where you’ll acknowledge how honey is produced and its benefits along with the tools used in the past as well as in nowadays. Also, you’ll taste some local honey sweet treat while wondering about the gorgeous panoramic view over the valley. We'll then take you to the heart of Madeira's wine region, where you'll be guided through the largest extension of vineyards in Madeira. Learn about the rich history, culture, and production techniques behind Madeira's renowned wines, before joining in a professional wine tasting featuring a selection of one rose, three whites, and two red wines, together with Portuguese cheese and chorizo. From this fabulous experience, we will have a lunch break (meals not included) and then we will visit one of the most iconic places of the island, Cabo Girão, one of the highest sea cliffs of the world (580 meters), known as skywalk, which offers a spectacular panoramic view over the Atlantic, Câmara de Lobos and Funchal (not included). We will finish our tour at the traditional fishing village of Câmara de Lobos, visiting Henriques & Henriques Madeira Wine Lodge, to taste (included) some of the famous Madeira wines: Sweet and Dry (3 years old) , Sweet (10 years old) and Dry (15 years old) included. A perfect tour inspired by nature and wine lovers. Important: This visit to Henriques & Henriques wine lodge is not available during some Portuguese holidays, instead we will offer a 20 minute visit to the traditional Fishing Village in Camara de Lobos Bay.

Starting with one the highest cliffs of Europe “ Cabo Girão “ with a glass platform and finishing with an amazing wine tasting at the very ease and relaxing Quinta do Barbusano. Along the way our guests will go in our 4x4 jeeps and tackle the road going through the second biggest valley in the whole island, the valley of Serra de Água surrounded by majestic mountains and amazing scenarios. Once we arrive to São Vicente, our jeeps will do their best to climb the steepest hills and the secret off-road of the vineyards. Finally in Quinta do Barbusano our guests will be doing a walk around the vineyards to be given a full explanation in regards of the grapes and wine produced by them, once we finish the walk we will be thirsty enough to start the wine tasting accompanied by very knowledgeable guides. This trip is for those who want to enjoy the best out of the northern wines and adventures.

We will start to take you to Serra de Água admiring the unique scenery of the hilly mountains used for centuries, where our ancestors built the irrigation channels "levadas" and the fields terraced like steps. Then at the northen side, you have the oportunity to have a wine tour during 1 hour and taste of 5 types of table wine locally produced, at Quinta do Barbusano. At Porto Moniz if the weather alows, you can swim at the most famous volcanic pools, or in Seixal village where we have the hidden non touristic pools. Take a look at Chão da Ribeira in a deep valley, where we have a large wrapping of Laurissilva forest and collection of Cow sheds were once used as warehouses to support agriculture. You will see some waterfalls on the coastline comming down thru the green mountains to the atlantic ocean.

Afterwards, we continue through Serra d'Água on the way to São Vicente, where you will experience an amazing off-roading with fantastic views over the north of the island with many breathtaking views over the traditional terraces of the local farmers and amazing viewpoints. Then, you will have an unforgettable and sustainable experience at the main local wine producer, where you’ll be guided through the largest vineyards along with a professional wine tasting (1 rose, 3 whites, 2 reds- included) and all about the wine history, culture and production. A perfect tour inspired by nature and wine lovers, the relaxing nature with the flavours and traditions of Madeira will make this an unforgettable experience. After the Jeep tour, our guests will be dropped off at Funchal’s Harbor to start the Dolphin Watching Trip. Come on board the Catamaran for a relaxing trip along the south coast of Madeira. The boat trip takes 3 hours with strong possibilities of watching Dolphins in their natural habitat. During the trip, the crew will give you detailed information about the cetacean species that you are able to see.In the summer months there is the possibility of swimming below Cabo Girao cliff. This trip ends in Funchal’s Harbor.
