Our guide, Renato, contacted us the day before the trip to confirm pick up time and he arrived at our hotel on the dot. We arrived reasonably early at Pena Palace to beat the queues which was great advice. Renato was very knowledgeable and pointed very interesting things out to us which other parties walked past. His enthusiasm was infectious. From Pena Palace we went to Sintra village for some free time and sound advice on where to get the local delicacies and a good coffee. We then enjoyed a scenic tour to Cabo da Roca learning more very interesting facts and then on to Cascais for more free time and lunch with more recommendations. It was a fantastic day trip with a fantastic guide who we couldn't fault.

It was a really nice ride! Miguel took my wife and I to the planned places and helped us manage time at each one so that we could make the most of them. In addition, he was always willing to clarify our doubts about the places visited, adding some curiosities and information about them. Sintra is a little gem, and the Castelo dos Mouros is well worth a visit. Lunch at Praia das Maçãs was pleasant, as was the wine tasting, with surprising labels. Cabo das Rocas impresses, for the notion it gives us of the vastness of the ocean ahead and of the European continent that "ends up" there. Also, it was interesting to get to know Cascais. A great day, with great memories!

Renato was absolutely exceptional. The trip was altered to forest fires (we couldn’t go into Sintra National Park) and still we felt every bit of the magic and history of the area. The trip was comfortable, accommodating, fun, and informative. Renato was very gracious! Thank you!!

There are not enough good words I can say about the experience. Joao was amazing, highly knowledgeable and an outstanding tour guide. He made some adjustments with no problems … everything was planned to perfection … thoroughly enjoyed the tour! Thank you Joao
