The jet boat experience was amazing and would highly recommend. Only reason for 4 stars was the lack of communication around the shuttle service. No mention of the need to pre-book in advance in any of the communications and left us needing to get our own transport out of town adding time and $$ we hadn't planned for. At the check-in desk it was mentioned we should have booked direct to get the shuttle, why offer the sale through a 3rd party then? it just dampened the mood a little to start the day but finished off with a bang after the ride.

The ride was great and full of adrenaline. wish they would have advised to wear beanie and face cover as the winter wind to blast your face and it was painful, the face warmer provided didn’t cut. Also, although the company has their pick up service with their own vehicle, I wasn’t offered this and the cost of taxi there and back was dear.

This is an activity definitely worth doing while in Queenstown. It's quite short in duration (25 minutes I think), but with lots of adrenaline while the driver was going nearby all the possible rocks and doing 360 degrees turns. They are giving you a waterproof coat in order to not wet your clothes. You can then stay on the river beach and watch other boats passing by in speed. I would definitely advise you to book a hotel transfer too, as the taxi is quite expensive for such a long distance.
