The boat was an absolute delight inside and out; seeing the steam engine was so interesting in the authentic boat, and the view of the river and surroundings was unforgettable. The bbq lunch at Walter Peak was a great meal, some of the best meats I’ve had. The quality and taste of the food was unbelievable for a buffet. To end it all they had a great dog show with the farmer on Walter Peak. A truly magic day and will be on my lost of recommendations for everyone visiting Queenstown.

It was a fabulous experience we'll do again next time we are down - every aspect of it we enjoyed. We particularly were impressed by the care shown to our wheelchair-bound mother; while the trip over was harder as she was last on and by that time nowhere for the family group to sit together, by the time we got to Walter Station Peak, we were personally taken up the ramp and seated first, she was so well cared for and on the way back, the boat staff had allocated a reserved area for the family. We were, and remain, thankful for their thoughtfulness. All in all, a magic amazing place, with superbly cooked and presented food held in utterly gorgeous setting.

Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The SS Earnshaw was fantastic. Great history involved. Peak Hill Stn another fabulous experience. Was expecting an average bbq but the meal and service was 4.5 stars out of five. The sheep dog display was another highlight. Very impressive presentation and display area.
