The bus ride out and boat tour were both excellent with knowledgeable and personable bus driver and boat staff. The bus ride was long although it stopped often enough to keep it from being a grind. It was disappointing that the small bus fed into a large boat which was very crowded. And although it was nice to have some sheltered areas indoors, too much of the boat was devoted to that. It would be much better if there were more and larger on deck areas as they are best for viewing the tour.

We really enjoyed this trip. Hassel free, the driver was a new driver but she did brilliantly, well done to Ashley. We had plenty of stops and enough time to see it all. The boat was great with the commentary and all the waterfalls. We had the picnic lunch too that was really nice.

My tour to Milford Sound with Altitude Tours was great. Andy, our guide was fun, interesting and an excellent driver. This small group tour of 16 people in a Mercedes Benz Van with a glass top couldn't be beat, even from the way back seat. A beautiful drive as New Zealand is stunning. The packed lunch was really good too.
