Full description
Your boat tour will depart from the South Queensferry, which is only a short distance from Scotland's bustling capital city of Edinburgh. Your tour will include magnificent views of the "three bridges", including the world-famous UNESCO World Heritage Forth Railway Bridge. In addition, you can take in the beautiful panoramas of the Edinburgh skyline, the Kingdom of Fife and the historic island of Inchcolm with its medieval abbey. As part of the tour you will stop at the island to drop off and pick up visitors. Cruise along and discover the magic of the red railway Forth Bridge, the Forth Road suspension bridge, and the longest three-tower, cable-stayed bridge in the world, Queensferry Crossing. For your comfort, relax onboard in the heated observation lounge or on the outside decks, and listen to the guided commentary while you enjoy a drink from the bar. During your tour, you will find plenty of opportunities to both see and photograph a wide variety of marine wildlife including seabirds, porpoises and seals.

The trip was very good overall. myself and my partner took our grandson on what he would call an adventure. The location is easily found. We live quite near the attraction and i was particularly surprised by some of the history that was brought to our attention by the onboard grew and the automated narration. The company do other tours which also sound interesting. My grandson (4 years old) was particularly happy that he saw trains on the Forth Bridge and seals near Inchcolm island.

Very good activity. Got to know lots of facts about Queensferry. The crew were friendly and welcoming. The audio guide while good, was a bit too much. I zoned out multiple times because of too much information. It could be improved by having a screen that matches the information on the audio. This would make it more inclusive too.

The cruise started a few minutes after 11:00. I recommend taking a hat because you may feel cold from the water. I was there in mid-September, so a hat was useful. After about 45 minutes we reached Inchcolm Island. Some passengers got off, some got back. During the cruise, there are plenty of stories about bridges and nature observations. We saw a lot of seals. If someone likes this type of cruises, I recommend it. You can take fantastic photos. There are souvenir shops and a pub in the area, where I ate a good burger.
