Full description
Day one begins with pickup from your Kampala accommodation and a delicious breakfast to set you up for the adventure. Travel the 5 to 6 hour journey towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, stopping for photos along the way and lunch in Mbarara. Arrive at the park in the afternoon and head off on a scenic boat cruise. Look out for the array of wildlife, including buffalo, hippopotamus, elephants, and more. From the boat, admire the rolling grasslands, then pass by the plains of Kasenyi where lions stalk their prey. After the cruise, enjoy dinner and a good night’s sleep at your picturesque safari lodge. Wake up on day two with a tasty breakfast then embark on a morning game drive through Kasenyi. On the drive, encounter an array of big and small game, and make unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime. Later, check-out of the lodge and enjoy an optional walk through the park in search of primates before beginning the return journey to Kampala. Along the way, stop for lunch and a visit to the Mpambire Drum Center where you can see drums being made by the locals and shop for souvenirs.
