You can stop to observe the different viewpoints available, or have a picnic. For the more adventurous, opt to go down the panoramic staircase. Clinging to the side of the cliff, this impressive staircase has no less than 487 steps. You will have ample opportunity to take well-deserved breaks during your descent. At the bottom of the stairs, feel the full power of the falls as you get splashed by the water. In winter, the fine splashes projected by the waterfall eventually freeze and form beautiful shapes. These splashes also form the famous Sugarloaf which is a very impressive natural ice cream cone at the foot of the falls. Finally, walk along the new contemplative walkway.
