We had an absolutely incredible experience on the Old Quebec Walking Tour led by our fantastic guide, Luis. From start to finish, he was engaging, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about the city's rich history and culture. Luis wove together stories from both historical and modern Quebec City. His recounting of Iroquoian Chief Donnacona's meeting with Jacques Cartier was both captivating and heartbreaking, especially as he detailed Donnacona's kidnapped sons who later served as guides along the St. Lawrence River. Luis also gave us a fascinating perspective on Quebec City's role in French, British, and American colonial politics, and his storytelling brought centuries-old events vividly to life. The tour was perfectly paced, with plenty of time to appreciate the architecture, scenic views, and of course, the funicular ride. Along the way, Luis shared restaurant recommendations that were spot on! We went back and tried L'Antiquaire Buffet (fantastic breakfast and lunch) and Va Bene
