You have to buy it on the only and official website of the national park. Get your admission ticket here: https://serviciosenlinea.sinac.go.cr/ Plastic water bottles and food are not allowed to enter the park. In high season (December to April), the entrance tickets get sell out fast. Please buy yours with at least 5 to 7 days of anticipation. In low season (may to November) one day before is good. Meeting point is at the supermarket next to Chalo Parking right before the national park entrance (not the one in front of the beach). I would 100% recommend it! Javier (aka: Estevan) was an impeccable guide. His English was perfect and his knowledge about the species we encountered was great! He answered all the questions we had, spotted really cool looking animals and the highlight: took some amazing photos using his scope with our phones. We saw butterflies, lizards, crabs, frogs, white-faced monkeys, squirrel monkeys (these are extremely rare to see since they're endangered so we were very lucky) and sloths. Great value for the money, just make sure you buy the tickets to the entrance in advance via: https://serviciosenlinea.sinac.go.cr/ , because the activity doesn't include the entrance tickets.

We had a really well organized tour in the national park and saw many animals including 6 sloths, 3 different kind of monkeys, Birds, Iguanas, many Insects, frogs and many more animals. Xavier was the name of our guide and he did a great job showing us around. He was friendly and calm the whole time and really took the time to explain everything in detail for us. I can only recommend this Tour with our guide Xavier and would book it anytime again!

The tour was well organized and the guide was competent and found many animals. He took great photos with our smartphone. At the meeting point it was unclear which of the many guides and which participants belonged to us. He didn't ask for our names himself. Otherwise, it was a really highly recommended tour.

Javier was a great guide- we had 2 small kids either us and he was patient with them- but in general would not recommend this type of tour for children under 7

It was really helpful to go to the park with a guide to see more animals and get some interesting information. I'd love to go again :)
