Full description

Sail across the emerald waters of the Venice lagoon on this full day trip to the islands of Burano, Murano and Torcello. Choose from an option with a shuttle transfer from S. Lucia Train Station to the departure point in San Marco or pick a tour option that meets in San Marco.

Hop aboard a comfortable water taxi in the morning and glide through the Lagoon of Venice. Admire views from the boat's panoramic terrace and listen to commentary from your guide.

Upon arrival at your first stop, Murano, find out why the island is renowned for its glassworks with a visit to a local glass factory. Watch a skilled artisan during a glass processing demonstration. Afterward, have approximately an hour on the island for shopping in one of the many glass shops.

Next, head for Burano, which is known for its lacework and brightly colored houses. Follow your guide to the heart of the town and have 2 hours of free time to purchase a nice lunch, typical Venetian aperitifs, or get an ice cream at one of the many cafes.

Venture from Burano to Torcello, the first center of civilization in the estuary. Spend an hour of free time where you can go to see the Venetian-Byzantine mosaics at the Basilica di Santa Maria Assunta. Return to San Marco in the early evening.

Enjoyable tour, all on time (so don't be late), guide friendly, boat was ok, the guide was very informative......although I feel as there were quite a few nationalities on board, when he finally got round to a required language, people had lost interest. Visit to glass factory in Murano was enjoyable, it is an art and is extremely fascinating to watch......also an option to buy some glass products at slightly reduced prices. Burano was beautiful with all its painted houses and narrow canals and the visit to Torcello, although pretty, not much to do.....(if we were to do this trip again, we would only do the two Island tour) A 1 hour boat ride back to Venice, in the dark (this would be great in the summer months) and the tour was done. All in all an enjoyable and well worth the money for 6.5-7 hours.

Lovely boat trip. Murano had the glass factory with a demonstration plus the option to purchase products from their shop. We also enjoyed visiting the other shops, touring and taking photos of the lovely canal and bridges. Burano is beautiful with all its colourful buildings. We ate there and had a delicious meal and reasonably priced drinks. Another opportunity to take lots of photographs. Torcello is lush and green but there isn’t much to see or do. It was still pretty and I’m glad we went. There is a little museum and tower you can climb if you fancy. Perfect day trip for seeing the three islands. The three island tour gave you a longer time to spend in Burano than the 2 island tour did, which we preferred.

Guided tour by Isabelle, a very pleasant person, very professional, whom the language barrier does not slow down and who has good addresses .. This on the Celentano boat. Murano in the November season is not very attractive, a deserted town, knowing how to do a bit. On the other hand, Burano, its fishing village and its shops are more lively, a little tip on the spot the restaurant "Al Raspo de Ua" because their cuisine is delicious for a fair price compared to Venice where we were based. When in Torcello, a small town empty of inhabitants, must be pleasant to visit when the weather is a little nicer than in November, Big reproach, for this small town the small corner costs you 1.50 € it makes the p ... But don't hesitate, it's a very nice discovery that awaits you...
