Full description
Discover Isla Saona, a Caribbean oasis off the southern coast of the Dominican Republic. Find out how, originally named Adamanay by the Taino Indians, the island was renamed by Christopher Columbus, during his second voyage to the Americas in 1494.  Begin the tour by boarding a speedboat and jetting off to Saona Island. On the way, stop to swim in a waist-deep natural swimming pool with transparent waters. If you're lucky you'll see some starfish. When you arrive at Isla Saona, you'll have many activities to choose from. Wade in the turquoise waters, visit the open bar, take a nap on a beach lounge chair, walk along the coastline, or play volleyball. Indulge in a typical Dominican lunch of chicken, pork, rice, beans, salad, and fruit. You can even enjoy lobster and premium drinks when you book the VIP option. Take your time to discover the island and do it all.

I explain to the driver that 6 people booked yesterday and that the shuttle for them arrives at 7:30 am Nothing to do he leaves after 10 minutes he receives a call that he must return to the club med to pick up 6 people. We go back to the club med we take the 6 friends after 15 minutes the driver noses and falls asleep half asleep we decide to sing to wake him up he stops and in fact he is in a bit more we wait for another bus . After 10 minutes a bus arrives and takes us to Saona and I pass the problems we arrive at 10 am. (Thank you for waking up at 6.15 am) once there the organization arranges with Alberto and everything goes very quickly we are in fact 73 for 3 speed boat. Alberto was our tour guide…he was great and fun! I was impressed he spoke French for the French speaking tourists! The bus was on time and arrived accordingly to the location for the Catamaran. He made sure we all stood by one another and no one gets lost! Albert was super careful with our safety! With boat trip experience, it was memorable! So happy I got to spend my birthday on the catamaran with my lady and another couple we were with! There was music, drinks, and dancing. The sights were so beautiful. They took to a sandbar location on the ocean. The water was super clear and blue! Then we headed out to Saona Island…I must say. It was paradise! We spend nearly 3 hrs there. So overall this experience was so much fun and memorable. I highly recommend this trip!!! Also tip the tour guides and there helpers…they go above and beyond for you!!

We were picked up on time. We then went to the destination to board the bus. There were bathrooms there. We then got on the bus. Our tour guide gave us some history about the area. We went to a shop where there were more bathrooms and food. Bring money. You can buy cute items authentically made. We then went to the stop to get on the speed boat. Very fun. Stopped at natural swimming pool and then went to Saona. Had lunch and spent time there. The time feels too short. Beautiful island and water. Worth the money. Took party boat back. Had an awesome time. Then got on bus to minivan to hotel.
