Punta Cana: Ziplines Adventures & Monkeyland Entry

3. Punta Cana: Ziplines Adventures & Monkeyland Entry

Expert canopy guides will teach you all you need to know about ziplines and your equipment before you’re transferred to the Welcome Center, where a safety briefing will be conducted. When you reach the first platform, you’ll be ready to face the challenge of flying from one platform to the next. You’ll be safely attached to the double line cables, the longest of which spans 800 meters. The combined tour comprises 8 ziplines, including the 2 longest lines in the Caribbean that stretch across a 2-kilometer span in the mountains. Race your partner as you travel on side-by-side cables! This full-day (9-hour) trip also includes a visit to Monkeyland, where you can interact with the friendly squirrel monkeys. Nestled in the mountains of Anamuya, Monkeyland offers a chance to observe the monkeys in their natural environment. The monkeys have become totally trusting of humans in this 5-acre environment. They will climb down from the trees to sit on your shoulder and eat from your hand. Take note, though that they love anything shiny and will want to check out jewelry and sunglasses! What people are saying about Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

We took a minibus to the port of Miches, then a boat to Bacardi Island (drinks in the boat) where we had 1h of free time (nothing is included on the island so take the bottles of water offered in the boat). Then we took the boat back to Samana and then a safari bus to the Ranch where we had lunch (it was very good and clean). We then did the horseback ride to the waterfall (each horse is pulled by a local who is only paid with tips) after the ride you have to walk 5/10 min to the waterfall and the road is difficult (slippery stairs, mud, etc.). Then we have some free time at the magnificent waterfall (don't delay too long because afterwards you have to go up all the stairs then take the horses back for the return. Then a short break and we take the opposite route: safari truck / boat / minibus to hotel Great day out to see a different area but strenuous (6am to 9pm) not for everyone!

Our guides Jesus and Aris were awesome!!! The zip line is very secure and a gentleman is there at each end of the cable to receive you and at each start to send you. So you don't have to manage the hardware apart from the brake. The landscapes are magnificent. The passage with the Aris monkeys our guide was simply brilliant, we were able to have magnificent photos it was incredible. Negative points of the day: the transfer which stops in a ton of hotels + makes us change vehicles in the middle of the journey without explaining anything to us and the meal offered between the two activities which was really not great: 1 quesadilla per person very dry the edges were hard as a rock and a really not crazy hot dog, a bit of coconut and two pieces of watermelon all accompanied by a cup of coffee or chocolate (that said very good)

A nice experience, the pick-up service was very good, the natural park was great, the food varied and in quantity and the bath in the natural pools was quick due to the storm but fun and the views from the round mountain are amazing. The guide Nacho is very nice, this excursion is worth it.

José Manuel and Rico made the experience that much more excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun activity while on vacation!

It was a great experience our tour guide jb was excellent a great day out got covered in mud would definitely recommend it
