What to Expect
Explore the underground world of intricate rock formations, sleepy rivers, and cave paintings as you climb down into one of the largest caves in the world. This is an enchanted underground adventure perfect for all thrill seekers when visiting Punta Cana.
Led by a professional multilingual guide, hike and ride through the Haitises national park and abseil approximately 20 meters into the cave. Follow a spectacular route through a subterranean underground river, admiring stalactites, stalagmites, and petrogliffs along the way.
After being collected at your hotel, drive to the Capote Ranch, which is approximately 2.5 hours away. Your adventure begins with a delicious breakfast of strawberries and tropical fruit. Afterwards change into special safety clothing and get a detailed run-through on how to use the safety equipment.
You will travel through the forest by foot and horseback, marveling at the natural beauty of the quiet woodland as you go. After abseiling into the cave’s mouth under the watchful supervision of your guide, enjoy a 1.4-kilometer walk and swim through the underground river.
Once you are back up to ground level, a second horse ride will take you back to the dining room of the ranch in order to finish this epic adventure with a lavish buffet of healthy and delicious Creole food and drinks. Showers are also available at this point, before being driven back to your hotel.

Know Before You Go
• You must wear a swimsuit and bring underwear, spare socks for boots, and also a towel if you want to take a shower after the trip.
