Gracisce is the medieval town of old origins, exciting history, rich culture and peaceful present. Gracišce has provided refuge and shelter to its inhabitants even in times prior to the birth of the Roman Empire. Ancient Gauls, 2,000 years ago, named the settlement Gallignana. Preserved medieval urban structure and numerous cultural and historical monuments are reasons why the place is whole legally protected. By visiting Gracišce you enter into mystical world of ancient times.

Castle of Kršan was first mentioned in 1274, while the current name Kršan or Karscheyner gets in the 15th century, when it comes to possession of a noble family Kerstlein de Pisino. The last owner of the castle in Kršan was a nobleman Tonetti from Plomin, known as church Earl. In the mid 19th century in Kršan was found "Istrian Demarcation" medieval document about the literacy and life of Croats in this area. Today, the castle is abandoned, but its appearance is taking us magically back to the turbulent medieval times.

A picturesque town of Labin, situated on a hill 320 meters high, which is only about 3 kilometers from the sea, was, by all accounts, inhabited since 2000 BC. Its old name Albona or Alvona has Illyrian Celtic origin which, according to historians, on Celtic language means 'city on the hill'. Labin is today cultural and administrative center. Rare are places where so charmingly connects rich cultural, architectural and historical monuments with artistic community and a bustling of modern times.
