The journey takes a relatively long time - including the entire environment (check-in, passport control) about 4 hours - one way. During the journey, the guides tell and persuade you to buy quite expensive optional trips (e.g. gondola ride, lunch, visiting St. Mark's Square, taxi ride). Personally, I think that there is no need to spend about 80 euros per person for this, because the port is located in the very center of Venice, and it is a pleasure to walk to the main places (e.g. the aforementioned St. Mark's Square). And even for people who don't like to walk so much - there is a water tram right next to the port (so you can combine business with pleasure, because it's not only a ride to a selected place, but also a tour of the city "from the water"). I think that the time spent in Venice itself is sufficient, you can easily visit and admire the most important places, eat a good dinner or ice cream. Venice is beautiful and well worth a visit. And we accepted the fact that the boat trip took an hour longer than indicated in advance. The period (mid-September) was also correct. Not too hot, not too busy. I understand the locals after seeing the island that they are sometimes tired of tourism.

Wery nice and kind staff, the whole jurney was very nicely planed. Please be informed that in the ship you can only pay by kunas in cash, euro are not accepted and the payments by card also, but everything was more than great. Higly reccomend if You are planing something like this.
