The arena is a very cool place to visit. Once you get in they let you walk around and you can explore everything on your own. There is a cool exhibit in the tunnels underneath the arena where various arena functions took place. However, they didn't have any audio tours available because it "wasn't summer yet," which I was confused by. I wish those were available year-round.

It worked great, the price structure was clear thanks to GetYourGuide and payment is easy thanks to the many different payment methods. The arena itself reminds me a lot of the Colosseum in Rome, even if this of course surpasses the amphitheater in Pula in terms of size and design. Nonetheless, the Arena is definitely worth a visit and lets you marvel at Roman architecture and how it evolved over the reign of the Roman Empire. You really have to visit it once!

In my opinion, the Pula arena is always worth a trip. Sure, it cannot keep up with the size of the arena in Rome, but it is impressive and imposing. The family had to pay a total of around 20 euros to enter. Together with the exhibition in the basement under the arena, the result is a great picture of the old days. Be careful, it can get very warm inside. This time we let the kids convince us to try out the costumes to take photos. At first I have to say skeptically, it was great. The kids had a lot of fun, we were looked after exceptionally intensively and in the end the big one was even allowed to wear a “real” 3Kg helmet. That was a real experience (there are no 20 euro ready-made costumes, but high quality from the theater and film sector).
