Day 1: Start the tour with pickup from Puerto Maldonado Airport. Your guide will be waiting for you right in front of the exit with a sign with your name on it so you can find them easily. We can go by car or boat to our jungle house, located on the Tambopara river. Check in to your cabin then set off for your first jungle tour. Walk for about 2 kilometers through the jungle searching for monkeys, brown agoutis, and butterflies as you learn about the trees and plants which grow there. When it gets dark, begin your night adventure on the river to go in search of caimans and capybaras. Enjoy this exciting tour with the opportunity to learn all about the animals and take pictures.  Day 2: On the next day, visit Lake Sandoval which is located in the heart of Tambopata National Reserve. Here, observe the many bird species, caimans, turtles, monkeys, and giant otters that live here. Return back to your accommodation for a short rest before embarking on your next night activity. Later, head into the rainforest at night, following your guide through the dark jungle in search of night monkeys, tarantulas, frogs, insects, and other nocturnal animals.  Day 3 On day 3, embark on a kayaking adventure, heading downstream to the Monkey Island. When you land on the island, go for a walk searching for monkeys and observe them in their native environment. Enjoy the opportunity to feed and take pictures with them. After lunch, visit a local indigenous family and learn about their culture and way of life.  Day 4: Start your final day pretty early and head to the clay lick to see the parakeets, parrots and 2 species of small macaws. On the way back, search for sloths. After breakfast, your guide will take you to the perfect spot for bird watching and take you for piranha sport fishing. By around 11 AM, head back to the main office from where you will be taken to the airport or bus station and your tour concludes.

Day 1: Begin in Puerto Maldonado, transfer to Paradise Amazon Ecolodge. Explore the reserve with a canopy walk and ziplining, followed by kayaking and a visit to Monkey Island. Enjoy Amazonian meals and spot caimans at night. Day 2: Wake to bird songs, enjoy a traditional breakfast, and hike to Sandoval Lake, observing flora and fauna. Experience a rowboat trip to see more wildlife. Night walk to observe nocturnal animals. Day 1: From Puerto Maldonado, guests travel by boat to Paradise Amazon Lodge. From Puerto Maldonado: Reserva Tambopata 4-Day + Zipline

Day 1: Tambopata – Jungle walk The tour begins with pickup from the airport or land terminal, we will be transported in a vehicle to enter the jungle near the shore of the Tambopata River, a boat is waiting for us to take us to our hotel. After settling in the cabins we will have a walk to observe the jungle fauna. We will return to the camp to have dinner, while they explain to us the activities we will do the next day. Day 2: Macaw Clay Lick On this day we will get up very early to be able to enjoy an incredible sunrise that the jungle offers us. We will go to see the largest macaw clay lick in the world, where 11 species of macaws gather in search of clay to complement their diet. After this activity we will go to our cabins to have lunch and rest a little. The excursion continues on the Madre de Dios River where we will take a boat ride until we reach Lake Sandoval, where our accommodation is located and is located in front of the monkey island. At night we will have a night walk where we can take some photographs of the alligators. Day 3: Sandoval Lake This day begins with a 3-kilometer walk along a trail until you reach Lake Sandoval, this place is a jewel for the Tambopata Natural Reserve. We will tour the lagoon in a traditional canoe, we will be able to observe different species of birds. We can also observe some monkeys and see some otters. At the end of the activity we will return to the lodge to eat and rest. At night we will have a night walk to appreciate the variety of insects and amphibians. Day 4: Zipline circuit – Puerto Maldonado For this day we will wake up very early to enter the jungle and begin this adventure activity on the zip line circuit that consists of sliding 30 meters high above the trees. At the end of this activity we will return to the hotel and leave for the city of Puerto Maldonado, where the incredible tour ends.
