What to Expect
Punta Nymphs is home to a colony of southern elephant seals that can be seen throughout the year. You will walk close to them, but far enough away to respect their privacy.

Since this area is not a reserve or protected park, it's a very exposed and fragile ecosystem here.

You will meet above the cliffs which are several meters above sea level.
Then it's onward to Madryn depending on the schedule of the tides. The walk takes about 5 hours and ends after 83 km (52 miles) at the end of Golfo Nuevo. From there, you'll head along a path of steppes near the cliffs where you'll see diverse landscapes, rugged coastlines, pristine beaches and unique sandbars.

Besides that, Nymphs is dominated by the lighthouse that guides the sailors entering the Gulf. It's one of the points that offers one of the most stunning panoramic views of the area, from which you can observe how the sea melts together with the landscape, as well as watching the tides come and go.
