What to Expect
One of the 7 Natural Wonders of the World, Iguazu Falls is undoubtedly one of the most visited places in Misiones, and one of the most imposing natural attractions in Argentina and the World. In guarani language, the term "Iguazú" means "great waters". It was discovered in 1541 by Alvar Núñez Cabeza de Vaca and established in 1984 as Natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Situated in Iguazú National Park, some 20 km from Puerto Iguazú in the north of the province, these falls are shared by Brazil and Argentina.

Enjoy this tour to the Iguazu Falls tour on the Argentinian side and explore this natural wonder for yourself. Arrive at the New Visitors Center at the Iguazu Falls and walk to the "Natures Interpretation Center". From the Visitors Center you can go onboard the train that goes to the Cataratas Station (Iguazu Falls Station; the train’s first stop) in about 8 minutes or you can take a short walk through the “Green Trail” that leads to the beginning of the path towards the Upper and Lower trails of the Iguazu Falls. Otherwise you can take the same train to the Garganta Station (the biggest fall of the Iguazu Falls). Once you have finished the circuits, you must go back to the Visitors Center where the vehicles are waiting for the transfer back to the hotels or the Airport.

UPPER CIRCUIT: The 800 meters of walks are detached from the jungles surface to protect the fauna by preventing disruption of their natural trails. From this circuit you'll have an upper view of the Iguazu Falls, enjoying their magnificence with a panoramic view.

Time required: 1 hour

LOWER CIRCUIT: 1.600 meters of walks, also detached from the jungles surface, enjoying a view from below and around the Iguazu falls. This circuit provides a unique experience where you'll be feeling as a part of the natural surroundings, watching and sensing their magnitude from up close.

Time required: 2 hours

DEVIL’S GORGE: Departing from Cataratas Station, the train goes up to Garganta Station in about 18 minutes. Then you’ll walk along the trail about 1200 meters over the islands that will take you to enjoy the most spectacular sight from the most important balcony: the Devil’s Gorge, the biggest fall of the Iguazu Falls.

Time required: 2 hours
