There was an option for an English language tour that was shorter available. since we had a translator with us, we opted for the longer Spanish language tour instead. The tour was very insightful in the guide was very friendly and open to questions, the site was beautiful and the facilities were clean and well maintained for both locations. The bus ride from Puerto de Iguazu was long but very comfortable with plenty of stops for bathrooms and snacks. I highly recommend this tour :-)

The excursion consisted of transport to three interesting places: the mine Wanda, the Ruins of San Ignacio and finally the shop where you can buy a lot of maté. We enjoyed the trip, even though much time was spent on the bus. The ruins were super photogenic and interesting. So was the mine.

Debido al tránsito intenso y algunos cortes, la excursión empezó más tarde de lo recomendado y terminó super tarde también. Tanto el correo electrónico de confirmación como la información en la app (que insisten que es necesario tener pero les comento que no lo es ya que pueden descargar los tickets) decían que la hora de recogida era a las 06:55h y sólo un mensaje de WA indicaba que era a las 07:55h. Además, no me dieron la opción de pasarnos a buscar por el hostel. Por lo demás, tuvimos poco tiempo en la tienda de las Minas (y había cosas preciosas que no pudimos ver) y las Ruinas son increíbles, pero también tuvimos poco tiempo para disfrutarlas. El restaurante al que te sugieren ir para almorzar es económico y la comida muy buena. La compañía yerbera es un lindo lugar y la degustación de productos es muy buena, pero ya estábamos tan cansadas que nos fue difícil disfrutarla. Mi recomendación final es hacer cada excursión por separado, para que ambas sean disfrutables por sí solas.
