Overall rating
We had a lot of fun! Highlight of the trip was definitely the cenotes. Wish had some time to explore a little in Tulum. When at the ruins, you are able to walk to the beach. You go through a gate but we were told we were not able to reenter the ruins once we exit that gate. We asked another staff once we got back to the entrance of where you start the ruins, and they said to tell the people at the 2nd entrance that you had to use the bathroom. They’ll allow you to return into the ruins once. The food was also pretty good!
Overall a very nice experience, but the guide could have told us more about the cenotes and the Mayas. Everyone there was super friendly and the scenic experience was very beautiful. We thought the price (we opted for the middle category: all cenotes - without cave, underground river - but with lunch and drinks) was a bit too much. Unfortunately we weren't shown the museum.
Some of the stairs were a little unstable, and the Mayan Ceremony was disappointingly short. But overall it was a wonderful experience. Our tour guide was great. We were especially impressed with the longest zip line and the tour of the cenote. The history of the underground caves was so interesting.
We had amazing guides with us who made the day as fun as possible. We saw all the animals except the crocodiles. Snorkeling could have been longer for the money you pay but the transport food and sandbank stay where great
A very moving experience guided by Cristina who allowed us to feel joyfully connected to this great nature. an unforgettable present moment!
