Start the tour in the local tourist dock and board a modern and comfortable boat. Set sail and cross the wide Ushuaia Bay until you reach the Beagle Channel through Paso Chico. Then, navigate around the Bird's Island where you can appreciate species of the Tierra del Fuego's seabirds such as skuas, black-browed albatross, steam ducks, cauquenes, cook seagulls, and gray seagulls. After that, reach Sea Lion Island which also belongs to the Bridges Archipelago and is inhabited by 2 different species of sea lion. Arrive at the Les Eclaireurs (The Illuminators) Lighthouse where you will find imperial and rocky cormorants colonies. Hear the story of the collapse of the SS Monte Cervantes in 1930. Next, continue sailing East into the wonderful landscapes of the Beagle Channel surrounded by stunning mountain ranges. Admire both Puerto Almanza on the Argentina coast and the Puerto Williams Naval Base on the Chilean coast. After that, head onwards to Martillo Island, also known as Penguin Island where you will have the opportunity to observe a colony of Magellanic and Papua penguins in their natural habitat. Make the return journey back to the dock, where your tour will end.

This tour does not include transportation to the port, so passengers must make their own way there. After exchanging the voucher for boarding passes, they will be able to board the catamaran, which will begin its journey through the Bay of Ushuaia and the Beagle Channel, visiting Bird Island, Sea Lions Island, Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, and after 80 km of navigation, it will arrive at Martillo Island to see the Mallelanic & Gentoo penguins from the boat. The catamaran will then return to the city after approximately 4.5 hours of navigation, dropping passengers off at the port. This tour departure from the port everyday, in the morning and also in the afternoon. Its important that the passengers let us know with time wants to take. (On December 25 and January 1, the sailings will only take place in the afternoon.)

Within the National Park, we will visit the most outstanding places of the areas of public use, among which we can count the Zaratiegui Cove, the Acigami Lake (Also named Roca), an impressive lake of glacial origin, shared between Argentina and Chile; and finally, Lapataia Bay, the end point of National Route No. 3, a Pan-American route that connects Tierra del Fuego with Alaska. Our city tour begins at the Pinguinos Expediciones office, and from there we will head to La Misión neighborhood in our vehicle. From this spot, we can enjoy an incredible view of the southernmost part of the Andes Mountain range in America. This location was one of the places chosen by the native people, and later by the first white settlers, to inhabit the Bay of Ushuaia. This will provide the guide an opportunity to begin telling the story of human settlement in the Beagle Channel, a narrative that will continue throughout the tour. The excursion will proceed with visits to the most important places in the historic center, including the giant letter sign of the city’s name, the Ushuaia port, the former Ushuaia Prison and Jail for Repeat Offenders, now turned into a museum (we do not enter the museum), and will finally head to the Martial Glacier Reserve. Once on the mountain, we visit the tea house and the beer point. We will then return to the city center and drop off all passengers who wish to return to their hotel. This tour must be booked at list 24 hs in advance!
