After five to six hours of climbing, reach 2,847 meters at the summit. Gaze at the middle of the crater and its impressive geological formation. See fumaroles and maybe even some lava. From here also enjoy 360-degree views of surrounding volcanos, lagoons, and forests. Spend approximately half an hour at the summit and then descend in half the time it took to climb up. During your hike have conversations about the native peoples of the Andes, the mountains and their relationship with them, as well as topics in volcanology. The hike is definitely not for the weak but so very rewarding. The whole climb up didn’t have any flat sections so that was a bit of a struggle but 100% worth it!! I got to check off a few things I never tried like: hiking an active volcano, hiking in the snow with crampons, and then sliding down the snowy slopes of said volcano. The summit itself was nice but it was all about the journey to get there and back as well as the new experiences that made it memorable. Glad I good do it :) shoutout to Sebastian, Raul, and Luisa for the incredible experience and guidance! This is a must!

we climbed the volcano today with 3 great guides! The organization is great! they lend all the necessary equipment, which is mentally light. regarding safety, the guides are serious! We found them attentive and really cool. the climb can be difficult if you are not in good physical condition: we used crampons and ice axes. The little super fun thing that makes the service unique is the descent by sled in snow slides. in short, only one piece of advice: go for it, it's worth it!

Gorgeous views and a nice ride up and down the mountain with views of valley, mountains and snow-capped volcanoes plus a waterfall stop. Even got a bit of trotting in. Highly recommend— 4 hour for experienced rider and probably 2 for beginners as the trail can get steep and 4 hours is long for newbies but perfect for those who have ridden in the past. Lovely crew. I felt completely safe all the time.

An early start- rewarded with a lovely sunrise! This track was a lot more challenging than expected but for a young and fit individual it’s manageable. The views are insane. Volcano was very interesting. Best part of the day was sliding down the glaciers! Great fun.

The guides were excellent and really looked out for everyones well-being. It was a tough but rewarding experience.
