Province of Agrigento Day trips

Our trip left on time, the vans were comfortable and seated 8 people each, although unfortunately did not have any phone charging ports. Otherwise, a very enjoyable day trip that allowed us to see more of Sicily's beautiful sights from the van windows. The midpoint stop on the way there was at an expensive tourist hub, so we recommend bringing your own lunch if you can. Upon arrival at the site, we had two hours to explore the Valley of Temples, which we felt was just enough time to browse the temples and eat our lunch, but not enough time to visit the Archaeology Museum add-on offered at the temple entrance. The site entrance fee was not included in the GYG ticket price. While we were able to sufficiently see pretty much everything at the Temple site, we were the last of our group to reach the pickup point. Scala dei Turchi is beautiful, but only a photo lookoff. Our driver Sergio was personable, knowledgeable about the region and expertly able to field questions from the group.
