This was such a fun way to spend 3 hours. I think anyone who knows a little about truffles (and enjoys them) will love this tour. we learnt a lot, which was delivered by the host with lots of humour, charisma and patience. for anyone considering this activity, don't hesitate, just book it! they were very generous with the truffles to eat (with a variety of accompaniments) at the end, and there was no hard sell of their products at the end. we had a great time, even though it was cold, and wet towards the end. thank you!

Full description

Go on a black truffle hunt on the gorgeous property of a Provençal truffle plantation in the Luberon, just 40 minutes from Aix en Provence TGV train station and 1 hour from Marseille Airport.

Meet a real truffle hunter and learn how this elusive, edible “black gold” is cultivated and how the truffle dogs are trained. With the help of your guide, you will soon find some truffles to try.

Learn about the art of growing truffle trees, training truffle dogs, and finding truffles. Then celebrate your find with a glass of champagne while your hosts teach you how to clean, store, and cook with truffles. Sample some truffle hors d'oeuvres and be sure to ask your hosts to taste the olive and truffle oil produced on the farm. Many delicious products are also available for you to take back home as a unique souvenir.

Take a tour of the vineyards, olive tree plantation and bees hives, and fully immerse yourself in the gourmet paradise of the Luberon.

The tour was amazing! Very informtive and interesting with beautiful views over the oak and olive trees. The host is very charismatic and knows well how to share the knowledge he has. The truffle appetizers were delicious and in a good company is the best 3 hours to spend! Thank you!
