During both world wars, Štanjel was uniquely influenced by a particular architect and mayor at the time, Maks Fabiani. He preserved the essence of the village whilst using his creative finesse to rejuvenate the newly-renovated public structures. Fabiani’s most notable work in Štanjel involved the restoration of Ferrari Villa and the design of the extraordinary Ferrari Garden park, lauded as the most significant park landscaping in Slovenia from the inter-war period. I recently had the pleasure of joining a Prosecco wine tour in Italy, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. Our tour guide, Francesca, was absolutely fantastic. She was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly helpful, ensuring that every aspect of the tour ran smoothly and that all our questions were answered. The family behind the winery were equally welcoming. They were genuinely. They took the time to engage with us, sharing their story and passion for Prosecco, which added a personal touch to the experience. It was clear they take great pride in their craft and in creating meaningful connections with their guests. This tour was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the region. The combination of an exceptional guide(Franchesca) and a warm, family-run winery made it a highlight of our trip.

Lovely experiences with good explanation from Julia. It is very informative and the view was so fabulous that you just want to stay at the vineyards to enjoy the DOCG prosecco for a long long time.

It was a wonderful trip! Our tour guide was very attentive and Tina from the winery was extremely helpful and generous. We can only recommend this trip.
