Day 1: Depart Johannesburg and travel by air-conditioned coach through Elands Valley to Nelspruit. Admire the citrus groves lining the route. Upon entering Kruger National Park, enjoy lunch before afternoon game viewing for elephants, giraffes, and antelopes in their natural habitat. Overnight at Tembo Guest Lodge in Hazyview.
Day 2: Wake at dawn and listen to the birdsong before commencing morning game drive in search of the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo. Savor a hearty breakfast, then continue to a watering hole to see hippos, crocodiles, and waterbirds before a midday rest. Dine at Skukuza Camp along the Sabie River, then embark on an afternoon drive. Overnight at Tembo Guest Lodge.
Day 3: Embark on an early morning game drive seeking elusive wildlife hiding in the bush. Browse local shops before your return journey, taking in magnificent farmland views. Stop for lunch in the Highveld region en route to Johannesburg. You will arrive at your hotel or airport by 5:00 PM.
