Full description

Get back to nature in Kruger National Park and look for wild animals by open safari vehicle by day and at night.

Day 1:

Depart Johannesburg and drive by air-conditioned microbus through the Elands Valley to Nelspruit. Marvel at the citrus farms along the way. Then, enter Kruger National Park in time for lunch.

Spend the afternoon on a game drive looking for elephants, giraffes, and antelopes in their natural environment. Rest at camp and relax in your en-suite chalet. Enjoy drinks before dinner in the private restaurant.

Day 2:

Wake at dawn to listen to the birds before going in search of the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo). Enjoy a hearty breakfast, then continue to a waterhole to see hippos, crocodiles, and birds before returning to your camp for a nap or afternoon swim.

Later, leave the lodge to look for wildlife until late in the afternoon. Stop at one of the restaurants inside the park to have some lunch, then continue tracking wildlife. In the evening, head back to the lodge to relax and start looking at the photos you've taken so far on the trip.

Day 3:

Depart on an early morning game drive looking for elusive species lurking in the bush. Get some time to shop before your homeward journey. Enjoy amazing views of the farmlands of Schoemans Kloof and stop for lunch in Highveld.

Arrive back at the airport for your onward flight or continue to your hotel.

Der Transport von Johannesburg zu unserer Unterkunft war super. Gilbert war ein sehr guter und freundlicher Fahrer. Die Unterkunft war schön, alle Angestellten waren sehr zuvorkommend. Am besten war "Fufu". Unser Guide Given war der BESTE!! Mit ihm hat die Safari super viel Spaß gemacht. Wir konnten sehr viel lernen und alles Big 5 sehen! Ich würde immer wieder buchen!

Very happy with our safari in Kruger. We had Nic who drove us from Johannesburg to the lodge and it was beyond great. He’s a culture guide and had answer for all our questions about the country, the economy, politics, sports. It was a very good 12 hours (6 hours each) up and down to Johannesburg. We stayed at Umbhaba Eco lodge, and it was a very nice accommodation. The staff were flexible with our schedule and for the early mornings we hade really good breakfast boxes. In the park we had Gives as our nature guide. He’s the guy in Kruger we would say! He really walks the talk and put very much effort in giving the best safari experience. We definitely recommend this safari package to everyone!

Abholung findet am 1. Tag zwischen 7-7.30 Uhr statt. Dann fährt man ca. 5 h bis man am jeweiligen Hotel ankommt und eincheckt. Gilbert war ein sehr guter Fahrer. Anschließend geht es auf die 1. Nachmittagssafari. Wir hatten Given als Guide, er war mega. Viel Wissen. Am 2. und 3. Tag geht es 5.30 los. Nix herzhaftes Frühstück genießen, Frühstücksbox! Je nach Hotel sehr unterschiedlich ausgestattet. Bei mir: Sandwich mit Käseraspel, Müsliriegel, Müsli mit Joghurt, Apfel, Saft das war’s. Die anderen hatten zusätzlich ei, banane, Croissants, geröstete Nüsse. Am 3. Tag endet die Safari 12 Uhr. Der Fahrer wartet schon, in meinem Fall Ben. Sehr guter Fahrer. Speisen, bis auf Frühstück, sind im Preis nicht enthalten. Die Reisebeschreibung überarbeiten! Wenn die Firma sagt ihr seid 16 Uhr am Flughafen, schafft der Fahrer das nur, wenn ihr allein im Auto seid und er rasen kann. 5h + sind realistisch. Toller Trip, für Europäer evt. chaotisch organisiert. Lodges: Umbhaba Hazyview
