Endemic birds found on Cousin Island are the Magpie Robin, Sunbird, Fody, Blue Pigeon and the Warbler. The tour continues with a 30-minute boat ride to Curieuse Island, where a splendid BBQ lunch is served on the beach. Curieuse island has a large population of giant tortoises, some can be seen next to the natural pond on the coast, whilst the majority range across the island freely and can sometimes be tracked by their vociferate calls of intimate congress. The guide was very knowledgeable of the island, being a native Praslinois. He took us on a car tour of the island on the way from our hotel to Vallee de Mai, showed us where locals lived and stopped to show us interesting places and nature. At Vallee de Mai, he stayed with us most of the way and was invaluable providing context and information on the flora and fauna. He gave us about 45 minutes to explore on our own after that, before bringing us to Anse Lazio. He also offered to stop at a shop on the way for us to grab lunch (Anse Lazio only has one restaurant). Unfortunately, the weather wasn't on our side in Anze Lazio so we had to cut our trip short. Fortunately, though, our guide was waiting for us in the car the whole time and we could leave whenever we wanted. Overall, really recommend it!

One of the most beautiful and best vacation days we have ever had. My wife and I spent the whole day alone with Jose. What a brilliant guy. After just a few meters he stopped and told us exciting information about the island of Praslin. He guided us through the Valle de Mai as if it were his home. His vast knowledge and friendliness are incredibly valuable. Even smaller stopovers on request were absolutely no problem. He chauffeured us to Anse Lazio and let us stay alone for 2 hours. This was followed by the return journey to the hotel with further exciting information during the journey. Absolutely world class and highly recommended.

Wonderful day out. Boat service was excellent, good driving, and our guide Ryan was informative and made the whole trip much more interesting. Lovely lunch and plenty of time with the tortoises. Far more to this trip than advertised. Excellent value for money.

Amazing and very helpful staff. Bbq on Sister Island was also delicious! You need Geoli Charters if you want to have a nice day with snorkeling and swimming.

Such a fun day filled with activities! Boat ride is bumpy but out of their control! They spoke in English and French & Omg the lunch was so good!
