Praia dos Arrifes

After getting equipped with a lifejacket, kayak, and paddle, receive a brief introduction to kayaking 101. Then, it's time to get in the water with the instructors and start your kayaking adventure. The first moments will be spent to get familiarized with the newly learned paddling techniques. Once everyone in the group feels comfortable, set off to discover the magical landscapes and cliffs of Albufeira. Get up close to the cliffs and pass through stunning caves. Discover some hidden beaches around the area. Take a break at one of the hidden beaches and enjoy some free time to explore the area. Then, it's time to paddle back to the starting point in Castelo Beach where your kayaking experience ends.

Sail for 3 hours around the Algarve Coast aboard an impressive schooner sailing boat and discover picturesque villages, beautiful beaches, and impressive rocky cliffs.   Depart from the Marina of Vilamoura and head west where you can see the extensive beach of Falésia, followed by the fishing village of Olhos d'Agua (eyes of the water). Continuing your journey, the boat slips through the water past all the tiny beaches with their red sand cliffs. Sail past Albufeira, which was a fishing village but now is a vibrant tourist location. Admire the steep cliffs of São Rafael and stunning rock formations. In good sea conditions there is a stop for a swim in the ocean and a visit to one of the sea caves. Feel the splash of the waves and the wind in the sails as the ship start turning around near Galé. Get a chance to help with the hoisting of the sails or assist the captain at the helm. With luck, spot dolphins swimming alongside the boat.

See panoramic cliff views, incredible beaches and the historic sites of Albufeira's old town. Enjoy a relaxing and fun trip by tuk tuk. Meet your driver and journey first to see the marina and some boat views. Travel to the top of the cliffs at Baleeira. Witness its charming lighthouse and panoramic sightlines of up to 50 kilometers. Next, travel down a scenic coastal road to the beautiful beach of São Rafael. Then its time to journey to the east side and see the monuments and narrow streets of the old town. After a visiting the charming beach at Santa Eulália, finish your tour at the village of Olhos de Água, enjoying a view of the beach from a secret spot.

The first moments in the water are dedicated to getting used to standing up on the board while paddling and once everybody's comfortable, the attention can be focused on the amazing landscapes around the cliffs. During the tour we can have a closer look at the cliffs by paddling close to them and also by passing through a few caves. There are also some hidden beaches aroung this area and even a secret hidden beach where we are able to make a stop to get some rest. After exploring all the area we get back to the starting point at the beach.

One of the most incredible things to do in Albufeira is stroll along the coast. This short walk from Praia de Arrifes in Albufeira to Praia do Lourenço offers stunning views of some incredible beaches. This is a fairly easy 6km hike with dirt road the entire way and some steep sections. You will pass by some truly stunning beaches such as Praia dos Arrifes, Praia de São Rafael, Praia da Coelha, Praia do Castelo, Praia do Evaristo, Praia do Lourenço. There are also some secret caves and beaches that can only be accessed from the sea. The trail is constantly up and down, where you should be careful with some rocky sections. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes and bring a camera and swimwear.
