Great zoo. Be prepared to do lots of walking! (it's a Zoo so should be prepared for this anyways!) As it's still winter a few things weren't open like the chair lift and aspects of the children's section but didn't diminish the overall experience. Great value for money and we actually ran out of time and missed the elephants. We brought our 1 year old and it was easily accessible with the buggy.

  • * Turnstiles, zoo ticket offices, pavilions and attractions, souvenir shops, restaurants, and refreshment stands close at 7:00 PM, but you can stay on the grounds until 9:00 PM
  • ** December 24 is open until 2:00 PM (also for pavilions), you can walk around the grounds until 4:00 PM. If you would like to bring some edible gifts for the animals, we would especially welcome apples, carrots, or non-sweet dry pastries. On the other hand, chestnuts, salads, tropical fruits, grains, meat, bones, etc. will definitely not be used. Edible gifts will be collected from 18 to 26 December at the main entrance to the zoo
  • Parking is available for a fee of 300 CZK per day
  • This ticket is valid for one-time use only
