A must-do when in Prague! Our guide, Zac, was an excellent historian and storyteller. He paints pictures with his words that make history come alive right in front of you as you walk the streets where major events of Czech history during WWII and the Velvet Revolution took place. My history buff husband and I highly recommend this tour and Zac in particular!

We went on the WW2 and communism tour of Prague with our tour guide, Tony. Tony was an excellent guide and was highly informative and knowledgeable on the subjects. The tour covered a range of sites and is a must for anyone visiting Prague. The tour was well organized by the company, discover-Prague and departed promptly from the meeting point and finished on time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in this era of history.

Zach, with Discover Prague Tours, was a very informative and educational guide. He made the stories come alive and was very animated in his delivery. We learned about the transition between WWII and Nazi occupation to Communist rule. Among lots of other things, we learned about the Czech plot to assassinate a high-ranking Nazi SS officer, the retribution of the Nazis after it, life during Communism, and the Velvet Revolution. We liked how Zach didn’t try to whitewash any of the complicity of the politicians or sanitize the realities of this dark period. As a native English speaker, he was easy to understand, too. This was one of the best tours we have done and would highly recommend it.
