This was the first ever time I had been to a ballet have to say it was a very good evening the performers were amazing. The booking of the tickets was quick and easy online would definitely recommend.

Easy to find, friendly staff helping with seating arrangements, talented dancers and overall a wonderful experience. They did have problems with excepting card payments at the shop for water etc. so just note to bring along some cash. Not sure if it’s a regular thing. Nevertheless, very special. Our 4 year old daughter was amazed at the dancers and the storyline the entire time.

Full description

Enjoy a performance of The Nutcracker ballet at the recently refurbished Broadway Theatre in Prague. The two-act ballet was originally choreographed by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov with a score by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The libretto is adapted from E.T.A. Hoffmann's story, The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, by way of Alexander Dumas' adapted story The Nutcracker. The first performance of the ballet was held as a double premiere together with Tchaikovsky's last opera, Iolanta, in December 1892, at the Imperial Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia. Enchanting, engrossing and absorbing. The Nutcracker story was brought to life in an animated and often theatrical mischievous way, combined with energetic and refined ballet movement and form. The performance showcased the practiced dance competence of the whole chorus and notably demonstrated by the principal girl and boy. Dedication and hard work underpinned the finished product which was enhanced by the excellent stage sets and backdrop scenery.
