Full description
View the permanent exhibition at the Štefánik Observatory and learn the basics of astronomy. Enjoy the interactive experiments as well as displays of historical astronomical instruments. Highlights include samples that came back from the Moon and Mars.

Visit the observatory’s domes and telescopes. If the weather is good enough, take the chance to observe the sky above. During the day, look out for sunspots and solar flares through a chromospheric telescope.

At night, observation focuses on the Moon and the planets of the Solar System. It is also possible to look further afield, at selected stars, nebulas, star clusters, and galaxies. Ask questions to the observatory’s staff about the observatory or the universe.
