Full description
The Old Town Hall is located on the Old Town Square and was established in 1338 as the seat of the Old Town administration. The complex consists of 5 buildings. The dominant part of the building is a Gothic tower with a chapel and a unique astronomical clock, where every hour between 9:00 AM and 11:00 PM, the twelve apostles rotate. Start your tour on the first floor, where the state rooms are located. Continue to the Gothic chapel of the Virgin Mary and the ceremonial halls. Afterwards, use the staircase leading to the third floor to the viewing gallery of the 70-meter tall tower and enjoy the most amazing views of Prague. A guided visit of the Old Town Hall medieval underground is included in your entrance ticket, so make sure not to miss out!

Very good tour which you can take at your own pace, would recommend getting the lift to the top of the tower, especially on a really warm day as it is pretty high. Views are incredible from the top and gives you a 360 birds eye view of the whole of Prague. Well worth the admission fee.

A great view of the Old Town from the crown of the town hall tower, maybe a little behind the bars, but always. The statues of the apostles can be seen up close and clearly, which we can see at full hours above the clock of the town hall. As for the rest ... It may or may not be ...

The views from the top of the tower were excellent! And the town hall itself was also interesting, though I wish I would have booked a guided tour because there were no informational boards around. If I did it again I would plan my visit for just before the top of the hour because you can see the figures/workings of the astronomical clock from the inside as it does its show.
