It was an amazing experience. I would suggest to plan the whole day around it, go there early, you’ll stay there till the closing hours. Try to visit every hall in the building, you will not regret it.

In some rooms in the history section, there was little connection between the audio guide and the exhibits. For example, the audio guide made much of the bubonic plague and the battle of white mountain whereas neither figured much in the exhibits.

The National Gallery was wonderful - better than I expected. Not just art, but also lots of animals (history of evolution), minerals, and historical and cultural exhibits. Plus access to parts of the new building, rooftop view, and Egyptian exhibit. Plenty to see. Guide was good. Was just frustrating having to travel across town to their office to first get the ticket to the museum, rather than just receiving the ticket electronically. That was an inefficient use of my time.
